Planned Around Your Block.
Every Burwood design starts with what the ground is doing. The suburb runs from Warrigal Road east to Middleborough Road, with Riversdale Road and Gardiners Creek along the top, and the creek valley pulls a genuine fall through the northern streets that has to be read before a line goes on paper. Underneath sits Silurian clay: a light grey loam over a heavy subsoil that turns to a sponge in July and sets like rock by February. That one fact drives the drainage design, the base depth and the retaining. The councils shape the drawing too. Burwood is split between Monash and Whitehorse, and a canopy tree taller than ten metres with a trunk over 500mm around at chest height can sit under an overlay that decides where a terrace or wall can land. Wattle Park sets the tone for the area and the older canopy on these blocks is worth designing around rather than clearing. What you get is one drawing, one scope and one team from the first sketch to the final clean up. We also build across Ashwood and Mount Waverley, and where the lawn is the piece that matters most, our turf installation in Burwood runs off the same base work.
